Faire O' The Green!

Calling on all the fey, the wizards, medieval re-enactment junkies, artisans, crafters, costumers, buskers, pagans and nonpagans alike to help make this festival of spring a great success! The MPGFA has held this as a Beltaine Faire in the past, but it's moving its date and location this year. The beautiful seaside setting of the community garden in Eastern Passage will be host to this day of fun and festivities. Please contact me, Linda Hulme Colin, if you're interested in becoming a vendor, performing dance or music, doing demos, or volunteering to do other jobs to make the day run smoothly.

It's a family-friendly day and all are encouraged to don their best costumes, be it medieval, fairy, wizard, a Zelda character or whatever suits your fancy. Ideas afloat include a costume parade, dancing around the maypole, walking a labyrinth, races, a tug-o-war, and other feats of strength and folly!
